Very sad today. Maestro Jose Vazquez passed away last night from Covid-19. He was an inspiring and exacting teacher, a consummate musician, a vibrant personality and intellect, and a kind and generous man. I am devastated to know that I will never have the privilege of playing consorts with him, on his wonderful instruments, ever again. His friends and students will dearly miss him. Too soon.
